Cardiovascular disease includes the following fatal and nonfatal events:
myocardial infarction, angina, coronary insufficiency, sudden and non-sudden
coronary death, stroke, transient cerebral ischaemic attack, peripheral
vascular disease (claudication), symptomatic left ventricular failure.
This calculator is based on the equation from: Anderson et al (1991)
